That was a very confusing way to defend Andy as a good offensive coach.

You're right. I guess I was more defending McNabb eh? Either way, Andy put this team on the map. If he had only taught them the rules of overtime and running the ball, he'd still be the Eagles coach.(not really)

I will always like Andy for putting this team on the map, plus he seems very likable for the most part. At the same time, he's always been an awful in-game coach whose stubborn attitude stopped the team from advancing forward. I will root for his success though.

Idk why, but I find myself feeling like he's overrated. I can't explain it, I don't really know why. But every time I hear his name, I find myself thinking"overrated." Just a gut feeling I guess.

Perhaps you've watched some Eagles games the last few years. Mystery solved.

I actually feel the total opposite. I think he gets crap on a lot for what he's done.

well, we will probably get a chance to see how Reid does with another organization to end the debate on him. personally, i would prefer to get a hot, up and coming guy because you kind of know what you're getting with Reid and it's probably not a championship.

Seriously yo, how can an Eagles fan crap on someone who freaking brought that team from being irrelevant to the Superbowl and 5 NFC championships I just don't understand that. In response to JJ's off topic post...Matt Foley is dead.

What's the debate on Reid? There is no denying what he did in Philadelphia. He took that team from being irrelevant to one of the perennial contenders, one of the premiere teams in the league for a long time.

He got them competitive, but only one Superbowl appearance will be whats remembered. And they lost that. I compare him to Schottenheimer puts a great team on the field but cant win the big one. I think Bruce Arians is one to watch he did a great job in Indy and did it quietly.

i don't think there's any denying Reid's overall resume ................. i question his relevancy in the league right now ....... is he burnt out? has the game passed him by?
