James has two years remaining on a contract extension he signed with the Cavaliers in July 2006. He has said he can't see himself playing anywhere else right now and has declined to address what will happen in two years. SOURCE my two cents: Unless LBJ wins a title within those two years He bolts out of Cleveland
He'll be free agent for about 2 minutes before he's off to NY or LA or some other major market. Dude wants the glory that people who play in Cleveland just don't get.
^^agree. Once LA shows up with a truck full of cash and the spot-lights and more endorsement deals...Cleveland will be nothing but distant memory...
Going to new york would suck thats where stars go to die. I think the nets would be a better choice but imagine LA :icon_eek:
i dont think LA will have the $$$ he is going to want. Madison Square Garden seems to be the only location.
if he ever landed with the Lakers. Kobe and James would be a great duo. not sure if anyone would be able to stop them
need i remind you of Shaq, Malone, Kobe, and Payton from a few years ago. Its not about the superstar talent on the team. Its about having that team play as one unit
In 2 years the Nets will be in Brooklyn and that might very well be a good fit for Lebron. I still think he'd prefer to play in MSG with the Knicks though.
I think there is a good chance hes not a Cavalier after that point, but if they are smart if all they will beat everyones offers.
we better give him every freaking cent we have to keep him in c-town... also i know that the nets and kincks are already making moves in anticipation of throwing the world at him. anyways i just hope we win a title this year with the addition of mo williams dropping in 16 and 5 dimes a night
