Safety William Moore, now a free agent, is hoping he can negotiate a deal with the Atlanta Falcons, the team that drafted him in 2009. Moore started 12 games in 2012, totaling four interceptions and eight pass deflections despite missing four games with a hamstring injury. “I’ve had talks with my agents … they are in great negotiations,†Moore told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I hope to get it closed soon. I love the Atlanta Falcons. They gave me an opportunity to be blessed and come into the NFL and be a part of this great organization.†It was thought Moore might receive the franchise designation, guaranteeing him over $6 million in 2013, though that never materialized. Though Moore may want to remain with the Falcons, his rising price tag could force him elsewhere. Source: Scout.com
