A worker at Qualcomm Stadium has been taken to a hospital after falling out of the press box about three hours before the Denver Broncos played the San Diego Chargers. The man, identified as Walt Daniels, fell about 25 to 30 feet out of a booth that was to be used by Broncos assistant coaches and landed on the loge level. He was administered CPR before being taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital.

SAN DIEGO – A member of the Chargers game-day staff fell approximately 20-25 feet from the visiting coaches' booth on Qualcomm Stadium's press level and was injured about three hours before Monday night's game between the Chargers and Denver Broncos.

The man, identified as Walt Daniels, was reported by emergency personnel to "have a pulse" after at least five minutes of CPR.

The injured man was putting together program packages for dispersal to the media when he somehow fell out of Booth 35C at 2:34 p.m., landing on the seats below and settling on the concrete between the second and third rows of the Club Level.

According to two members of the Broncos' radio broadcast team, Daniels "stumbled" down the stairs, pitched forward and rolled out of the booth. They said Daniels, who walks with a cane, desperately tried to right himself after the initial stumble but couldn't stop his fall.

no new news on him yet
