Roddy White has made the first recruiting pitch. The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver recognizes the club’s need for pass rush help and he has recognized a veteran pass rusher on the open market. “I would love to see Dwight Freeney in a falcon uniform next year I hope that's not tampering,†White wrote on his Twitter account. The Falcons have an aging defensive end in John Abraham, a 34-year-old who had 10 sacks last season. Freeney, 33, had five sacks this past season, his 11th with the Colts, he’s had only 13 ½ sacks in the last two seasons. Freeney has 107 ½ in his career and Abraham has 122. Freeney might help for one season, but what the Falcons really need is an infusion of youth, speed and talent on the defensive line. Source: National Football Post
