Brett Favre has yet to deny allegations he sent voice mails, text messages and photos to former New York Jets game-day hostess Jenn Sterger. The Minnesota Vikings quarterback's biggest corporate sponsor, Wrangler, is finally speaking up. The jeans maker, which shows Favre throwing a football and driving his pickup truck in national TV commercials, says it's keeping its options open with its star endorser. The NFL began investigating the allegations published by Deadspin.com last Thursday. "We are following the story like everyone else," says Wrangler spokesman Rick French. "At this point, we are not making any major decisions on our marketing program until more information is available to us." French declined to comment on whether Wrangler has spoken with Favre, how much it pays him or terms of his contract.
