RAW Results for 5/8: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler introduced the show. They hyped Big Show vs. Kane and Edge vs. Mick Foley. Lawler welcomed Ross back. Ross said it's like being home again. Triple H walked to the ring. Ross heaped praise on Hunter, talking about him being a fighter who has studied all of the greats. No negative comments from the lead announcer translates into another step toward his official babyface turn. Ross said, "The Game wants number eleven very, very badly." Hunter began by saying he didn't come to the ring to be the special referee or fight with Vince McMahon over what he deserves. He said he came there for one reason - and that is the WWE Championship. He acknowledged that some argue he has had enough opportunities. He said he doesn't give a damn because he's "the exception to every rule." He called out John Cena, demanding a title shot now. After a pause of ten seconds, Cena's music began. I like that small touch of realism. It would be unrealistic for Cena's music to be cued and Cena to come out immediately. Now, ten seconds is hardly enough time for him to get dressed properly, find his belt, and make his way to the ring, but the ten seconds is at least plausible and doesn't make everything feel prefabbed and obviously, overtly scripted. Cena walked to the ring and said Hunter has ten championships and the Yankees have 27 championships, but in neither case does that mean they get an easy path to the championship game. Cena said, "We all know what you've done, man. We all respect you for that, man. This is about what you've done lately, and lately in championship matches I've pinned you and made you tap out. Cena said that doesn't justify his demands to get back on his throne. Cena said if he turns him down, though, he'll have to listen to him every week complain and get hit in the head with a sledgehammer. He said option B is to have a match right away. Cena said it's a tough one, but he's accepting option B. He took off his shirt and got ready. Hunter said, "It's on. Let's make it official. Get a referee down here right now and let's ring that bell," said Hunter. Instead of a referee, Vince McMahon made his march to the ring. McMahon said there is no reason for a referee to come out because there will not be a championship match tonight. McMahon said Hunter defied him last week, and now he wants him to give him whatever he wants. Hunter said, "Yeah." Regarding Kenny, Hunter said, "I'm sure Kenny and his little buddies get together every night and pump each other with spirit." Vince winced. Hunter said if Kenny beat Cena, he'd be making an equal trade. He called Cena a "poser." Cena interrupted, did some mock poses, and said he poses after beating Hunter. Hunter said his next pose is on his back after he knocks him out. Cena said he hasn't seen that yet. Hunter told Vince that it's a proven formula that he wins championships and makes him lots of money. Vince yelled, "Shut up!" McMahon correct Hunter, saying his name is not Vince, it's Mr. McMahon. He said he's not anyone's friend, he's the boss. He said he appreciates all that Hunter has done for him in the past, and to show his appreciation, he wants to show him he can change his mind anytime he wants. "You've got your championship match!" he said. Hunter smiled. McMahon added, "Just not tonight." He then gave Hunter the rest of the night off. Hunter looked upset. Vince threatened to change his mind about giving Hunter a title shot in the future. Cena held the title belt in front of Hunter's face. Hunter left the ring. McMahon said Cena doesn't have the night off. He said later all five members of the Spirit Squad will face Cena and Shawn Michaels. This is the "Spirit Squad Era" of Raw. Cena told McMahon he can do him the pleasure of "kissing my butt." Vince talked over him and said his mic should be cut off. Vince then officially started the Fatal Four-Way Match for the IC Title. RVD walked toward the ring. Cena held the belt in front of RVD. RVD gazed at it. Cena looked at the Money in the Bank briefcase. Lawler wondered who the three opponents would be. It's always weak when announcers know less than the viewers who visit WWE.com to read the Raw preview. RVD said what happened with Joey Styles last week was a bunch of crap. "For the record, I agree with everything he had to say about sports entertainment." There were a few boos. He said they share the same views and he respects that Styles had the balls to share them. RVD said he gets a lot of energy from hearing them chant his initials, but tonight he wants to hear three other letters. "ECW, ECW." That seemed a little bit like begging for ECW chants, rather than letting it happen organically. It was also interesting that a few fans booed and there was no big pop when RVD said he agreed with Styles because Styles took a dig at the fans last week. ROB VAN DAM vs. SHELTON BENJAMIN vs. CHRIS MASTERS vs. CHARLIE HAAS -- Intercontinental Title match Ross and Lawler spoke of the disadvantage that RVD face because he could lose the title without being in the ring or part of the equation when someone else scored a pin or a submission. Masters threw RVD out of the ring and then joined Shelton in double-teaming Haas. Shelton and Masters worked together until it came time to go for a pin. RVD returned to the ring and hit a top rope superkick on Masters and cleared the ring. Masters suplexed RVD as they returned from the break. Shelton raked Masters's eyes to break up his pin attempt. Haas schoolboyed Shelton for a two count at 4:00. RVD snuck in a Rolling Thunder on Masters. Shelton then pounced on RVD. Haas eventually went after RVD. Shelton nailed Haas with a roundhouse kick to the head and went for a pin. RVD broke it up. At 8:30 Masters put the Masterlock on Haas. RVD surprised Masters from behind with a flying sunset flip for a pin. Ross exclaimed, "My god, where did Van Dam come from?" No loud "ECW" chants during the match. Now watch Vince McMahon cancel the whole project on a whim tomorrow because the crowd in Anaheim didn't go crazy chanting "ECW, ECW." WINNER: RVD in 9:00. CARLITO vs. MATT STRIKER Ross said Striker gained national acclaim as a high school teacher who was fired. He didn't say he was fired for skipping school to wrestle. At 2:00 Eugene charged into the ring and attacked Striker, costing Carlito a DQ decision. Carlito gave Striker a facebuster, then helped Eugene to his feet. Then he gave Eugene the back cracker. Ross said he "gave Eugene something to think about." WINNER: Striker via DQ in 2:00. MICK FOLEY vs. TOMMY DREAMER vs. EDGE (w/Lita) Foley then hit Dreamer from behind with a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat. Edge and Foley squared off, but then Edge dropped his baseball bat and Foley handed Edge his barbed wire baseball bat. Edge then hit Dreamer with the bat. Foley drove the barbed wire into Dreamer's forehead. Dreamer did what he always did best - bleed. Dreamer then got legdropped between the legs with the barbed wire baseball bat lying on his crotch. Lita and Edge held Dreamer as Foley applied Mr. Socko. Edge then gave Dreamer a Spear as Foley still had Mr. Socko applied. They pinned Dreamer together. "What have we just seen here?" said Ross. Lawler asked, "Can you explain this to me, J.R.?" The crowd didn't know how to react. That explains Foley's out of place and overt self-aggrandizing last week about having the greatest hardcore match ever and Edge being the toughest S.O.B. he's ever faced. They replayed the highlights, then Ross said, "What is going on here?" WINNERS: Foley and Edge in 3:00. MICKEY JAMES vs. MARIA - Non-Title Match "Do you think if I told her she had a beautiful body, she'd hold it against me," Lawler said apologetically. Ross gave him a hard time for using old one-liners. Mickey trash-talked Trish at ringside after the match, then stomped Maria. Trish entered the ring to make the save, but after a few blows with her left arm, Mickey took control. Another unidentified blond entered the ring and attacked Mickey. Security pried her off Mickey. They did a good job at first of making it seem unplanned, as if a fan from the crowd did it. The camera, though, zoomed in on the mystery woman as security held her arms down. Mickey screamed, "Oh my god! What are you doing here? You ruin everything!" So Mickey recognized her. It's Beth Phoenix from OVW. WINNER: Mickey in 2:00 after a DDT. UMAGA vs. TWO JOBBERS Armando Alejendro Estrada introduced two jobbers for Umaga. He asked each of them if they had wives, kids, and most importantly, health insurance. Ross said he never thought he'd see Ric Flair destroyed like Umaga destroyed him. Umaga looked pretty tough. They're actually doing a good job making him seem unstoppable. Whether people will pay to see an act like this in 2006 remains to be seen, though. WINNER: Umaga in 4:00. KANE vs. BIG SHOW Kane and Show worked a strange style featuring what Ross described as "surreal" as Show used a drop told hold and various other amateur style approaches. Ross also acknowledged the Foley turn, saying he'd expect to hear an explanation from him next week. Kane applied a hammer lock. Show reversed it. "I'm liking it, but I'm shocked," said Ross about the exchanges. Show used another drop toe hold into a side headlock. Kane used a drop toe hold to send Show head-first into the top turnbuckle. A video aired with audio of May 19th being said over and over. Kane went berserk with a series of chops against Big Show. WINNER: No contest in 5:00. SPIRIT SQUAD vs. SHAWN MICHAELS & JOHN CENA Spirit Squad came out first and filled the ring. Then Michaels came out. He waited for Cena. Cena and Michaels then jumped into the ring, and Spirit Squad jumped out to ringside. Michaels faced Kenny to start. Michaels tagged in Cena. There were boos at that point. Cena didn't acknowledge them. Then a loud "Cena, Cena" chant broke out, notably higher in pitch. Kenny tagged out. Cena worked over all four other members. Kenny didn't enter, so Cena tossed him in over the top rope. Michaels and Cena threw Kenny head over heels onto all other Squaders at ringside. Cena was rallying after the break, but eventually Spirit Squad took over with a swarm attack. They used the trampoline to elevate and hit a flying clothesline on Cena at ringside. Ross acknowledged that some like and some don't like Cena, "and that's your prerogative, but he's tougher than hell." Squad continued to tag in and out and control Cena. Cena teased a hot-tag to Michaels at 10:00, but he couldn't reach. The announcers did a nice job saying that as obnoxious as Spirit Squad is, they're smart about how they isolated Cena and prevented a tag to Michaels. Mikey missed a swanton moonsault at 13:00. An "HBK" chant broke out and Cena dove and hot-tagged him in. Michaels fended off a series of charges by each Squad member. Kenny eventually hit Michaels with a tag title belt and scored the pin. As the ref raised Kenny's arm, he knocked out the ref and then began taking his clothes off. Oh, he just wanted his belt. Kenny then whipped Michaels with the belt "like a government mule," said Ross. Cena charged into the ring and made the save, clearing the ring of Spirit Squad. Triple H walked to the ring at the same time and then gave Cena a Pedigree to a mix of cheers and boos. Hunter did the crotch chop to end the show. WINNERS: Spirit Squad in 15:00.
Thanks But I was on about if they get a TV slot. Will Sky put it on Sky Sporrts or the Wrestling channel - (With I don't Get). PS Dreamer and Funk v Foley & Edge at ONS2.

Get the answers to all of these questions and more on RAW, this Monday night at 9pm et, 8pm ct on the USA Network.
RAW Results for 5/15: Vince McMahon came out at the start, and said he was changing the main event for the better. It would be Rob Van Dam and John Cena vs. HHH, Chris Masters and Shelton Benjamin in a 3 on 2 Texas tornado handicap match with both titles on the line depending on who scored the pin. The heels went to work triple teaming RVD, and the match was really good from that point on. Benjamin and HHH got into an argument while Masters put RVD in the Masterlock. RVD was able to fight them all off, and went for the frog splash on Benjamin, but HHH pushed him off the top to the floor. Cena then came in with clotheslines and suplexes on all three. He hit the five knuckle shuffle on Benjamin, and sent HHH to the floor when he went for the pedigree. Cena then applied the STFU to Benjamin. Masters broke that up. RVD hit the five star on Benjamin, but HHH gave RVD the pedigree. Cena hit the FU on Masters, and HHH gave Cena the pedigree. Benjamin made the cover on RVD, and HHH made the cover on Cena, but Benjamin got the cover first and scored the pin to win the IC Title. HHH thought he won, so he gave the referee the pedigree and stormed off. Trish Stratus called out Mickie James. Beth came out and attacked Mickie again. Trish said Beth is Mickie's old friend and Trish's new friend. Beth said she wouldn't let Mickie get away with what she did. Backstage, Shane McMahon told an angry HHH that Vince wanted to collect his favor, and HHH would be in Kenny's corner against Shawn Michaels with Shane McMahon as special referee. Spirit Squad then retained the tag titles defeating Gene Snitsky and Goldust with a bulldog off the trampoline off the floor into the ring for the pin. Mick Foley came out for an interview. He still received mostly cheers and few boos, and played to the crowd with thumbs up and smiles. He said what he did was unbelievable, because he couldn't even believe he attacked Tommy Dreamer and joined Edge himself. He said he owed an apology, and said he is sorry. That got cheers. He said he couldn't apologize to Dreamer, so he would apologize to Terry Funk. Foley wanted to shake hands, but Funk told him not so fast. He wanted to know why Foley humiliated Dreamer. Foley said it was because he and Edge made history at WrestleMania with the greatest hardcore match ever, and he wasn't going to let second-rate ECW scumbags come into a WWE ring as if they represent hardcore. Thus, Edge and Foley made a pact to protect what they created. He said he would defend three things with his life: the honor of his wife, the honor of his children, and the honor of his legacy. Funk said Foley is ECW, and talked about all they have been through together. He said Foley is like a son to him and they hugged. Foley said that they hadn't stood in a WWE ring together since 1998, but they should have in 2003 when Foley was honored as a hardcore legend. Instead, he asserted Funk didn't show up because he wanted more money. Foley said Funk broke his heart. He continued that one day Funk will die, and it will cost a lot of money for Foley to come to a dump like West Texas and speak at his funeral. He then reconsidered and said he would come there for free to spit on Funk's grave. Funk then tried to get Foley to fight him. He slapped Foley multiple times, called his wife a tramp, and said his kids are bastards. But it was only after he said that WWE sucks that Foley attacked. Funk fought off Foley and Edge, but Lita gave Funk a low blow. Edge hit Funk with the barbed wire bat twice, and Edge and Foley gave him the Socko/spear combination. Matt Striker beat Eugene. Before the match, Striker mocked immigrants and Texas Tech, and vowed to teach Eugene a lesson. Eugene hit the leg drop, but Striker kicked out. Eugene went for the Rock Bottom, but Striker got out and hit the Golden Rule for the pin. Striker's knockoff Dean Douglas character is a dead-end gimmick for a dead-end performer. The other Matt Striker was always better than this guy. Backstage, Carlito said he liked Eugene until he messed with Carlito. Maria didn't understand Carlito's t-shirt. This of course built to Maria excitedly proclaiming that she swallows, and Carlito saying that is cool. Elsewhere, HHH confronted Vince McMahon backstage. HHH was furious and said nothing. Vince said that since HHH got a title shot, it would be time for HHH to return the favor and bash in Michaels' head with a sledgehammer. Umaga beat Chris Wellman. Armando claimed that Wellman is the toughest guy in all of Texas, which was funny. Even Wellman had this quizzical look after Armando made that claim. Umaga threw Wellman over his head really hard off the steps to the floor. He used the thumb for the pin. Backstage, Spirit Squad voiced their appreciation for Shane McMahon. Shawn Michaels and Kenny went to a no-contest. Michaels went after Shane from the very beginning. He went for an elbow off the top on Kenny, but Shane pushed him off. Kenny hit a DDT, elbow and other moves, and Shane tried to fast count Michaels. Kenny whipped and choked Michaels with a belt. Michaels came back with an inverted atomic drop and punches. He whipped Shane with the belt, sending him from the ring. Michaels hit a body slam and the elbow off the top on Kenny. He followed that with sweet chin music, but Shane jumped Michaels with a series of back breakers. He called HHH into the ring, and held him for HHH to attack with the sledgehammer. HHH swung, and they played it like he intended to hit Michaels, but Michaels moved out of the way. With Shane laid out, Vince came out and called for help. HHH apologized to Vince as the show ended.
Re: WWE Raw Previews & Results Mike when you do a ECW ONS2 You can put Edge & Foley v Funk & Dreamer.
ok, i'll wait til they start officialy naming matches. and i heard RVD will cash in his his MITB title shot at ONS vs Cena.
RAW Preview for 5/22 from WWE.com: Sin City Showdown May 22, 2006 Nothing is a safe bet as RAW rolls into Las Vegas on May 22. After getting screwed out of his one-on-one rematch with John Cena last week, Triple H nailed Shane McMahon with a sledgehammer during the main event. The Game said it was an accident. But Mr. McMahon demands that Triple H make a public apology this Monday night on RAW. Also, Mr. McMahon has issued another order for RAW. The Chairman has declared that on Monday night, Shawn Michaels will be forced to take on all five members of the Spirit Squad in a handicap match. Will HBK be able to overcome these seemingly insurmountable odds? Last week, the mysterious woman attacked Mickie James again, and Trish Stratus introduced her as the Womens Champions old friend Beth. Beth then told Mickie that shed never let her get away with what she did. Will we find out on Monday night? Tune into RAW Monday night at 9pm et, 8pm ct on the USA network to find out.
RAW Results for 5/22 At the onset of the show, Vince McMahon said that he is sure what HHH did was an accident, but he would demand an apology anyway. He added that if he didnt receive a sincere apology, there would be immediate retaliation. Mick Foley came out in a suit. He thanked the fans for their continuing support, in spite of a few misunderstandings. He hilariously explained, I am not a bad guy. It is okay to cheer me. Parents, tell the kids boos are not really necessary. Im a lovely guy. After this, mentioning Las Vegas got a cheap pop, but he then turned on the crowd by saying it isnt nice to be in Las Vegas. Basically, Vegas has a bunch of people looking to change their lives with a roll of the dice, when it is better to earn your accomplishments like Foley. He introduced Edge, and wanted to present Edge with the old WWE Hardcore Title. Edge said he couldnt accept the title, because Foley had to toil in Bingo Halls for so many years while he was disrespected by people like Ric Flair. Edge said Foley deserves to be the hardcore champion. Foley pointed out the irony of Flair working in a ladder match this year at WrestleMania after all his stunt man remarks. Foley said both he and Edge wanted to be hardcore champion, so they should resolve it with a match in Las Vegas. Shockingly, there were actually people gullible enough to buy this as a possibility. Edge and Foley instead decided they would be co-holders of the hardcore title. Paul Heyman came out, and got a nice reaction. He talked about a prostitute being in the ring, but meant Foley, not Lita. Heyman said that Foley prostitutes his familys love for Edge and Lita, but he wont prostitute the name of hardcore. He called Foley a shell of his former self. Foleys facial reaction was great. Foley said he is the co-holder of the WWE Hardcore Title, a WWE superstar, real life action figure, and book writer. He said that Heyman is the one who has nothing left. Hes not GM of Smackdown, doesnt own his company, and has no power. Heyman said he does have the power to issue a tag challenge for One Night Stand. Foley refused. Heyman laughed, and said Lita was the only one in the ring with any nuts. Foley and Edge went after Heyman, but Heyman introduced Funk and Dreamer as their opponents for One Night Stand. Funk and Dreamer brought weapons and ran Edge and Foley off. Shelton Benjamin beat Rob Van Dam via disqualification in an Intercontinental Title match. RVD dominated early with kicks, but Benjamin turned it around by dropping him on the turnbuckle. Benjamin tried to neutralize RVD with holds, but RVD kept coming back with kicks. Eventually he hit a standing moonsault and Rolling Thunder, but there was a referee bump. Scorpio Sky ran out. Sorry. Reflexive response. Benjamin brought the belt into the ring, and RVD kicked it into his face right as the referee was recovering. The referee called for a DQ. Vince McMahon came to the ring, and alluded to making Shawn Michaels life a living hell. He made some threats and asked for two words from Triple H. Triple H came out and said he had two words for Vince. They teased it out, but his words were Im sorry. Vince accepted the apology, provided HHH come out and hit Michaels with a sledgehammer on his command after the main event. HHH said they had an understanding, and they shook hands. Kane was interviewed. He said that May 19 was the date that his mother was killed in a fire, and he has fought many years to suppress those memories. But, those days have passed, his movie is out, and he gets to inflict pain and punishment on his opponents. So hes never been happier. John Cena beat Chris Masters with the STFU in a title match. Afterwards, Rob Van Dam came out. He said he will be using his Money in the Bank title shot at One Night Stand, where he will be more comfortable. RVD and Cena then got into a fight. Cena was getting the best of it until Masters ran in, and RVD took the opportunity to hit the worst Van Daminator ever with the briefcase. Backstage, Carlito and Maria were off to play some cards. They ran into Gene Snitsky, who had hired an escort. He approached Goldust who was dressed in showgirl attire. Snitsky was enamored with Goldusts feet, which troubled Goldust, who was just chilling in womens clothing. Carlito didnt find this cool. Maria added that it wasnt funny. Elsewhere, Shawn Michaels was pissed off at HHH for apologizing to Vince. Michaels called him a sellout. Kane defeated Trevor Murdoch with the choke slam. Murdoch talked trash about See No Evil before the match. Afterwards a video played saying that this will never be over. Kane acted confused. Mickie James beat Torrie Wilson with the implant DDT. Trish announced after the match that Beth Phoenix is the newest Raw Diva. She attacked Mickie from behind, and Mickie ran off with her title into the crowd. Viscera came out and said he had big news. He said that he realized it is time for him to settle down, and invited Lillian into the ring. Lillian pointed out the last time they were in Vegas he dumped her for hos. Viscera said that was his bad and apologized. He then took out a cheeseburger and said if they got married she could cook for him. He said he was hungry and horny and asked Lillian to marry her. Armando Alajando Estrada showed up, and was particularly great this week in introducing Umaga. Umaga just obliterated Viscera, climaxing with the spike. Spirit Squad and Shawn Michaels had what was labeled a match by Jim Ross, but didnt really have any elements of a wrestling match. Vince McMahon ordered the referee to leave, and the Squad gave Michaels an extended beat down. They gave him High Spirits. Shawn Michaels made a comeback when they brought a chair into the ring. He went to town with the chair, hit the elbow off the top, and hit sweet chin music twice. He went for a third, but he got hit in the leg with a chair. They tore up Michaels pants and went after his knee. The fans were chanting for HHH. They put Michaels leg in the chair and Kenny came off the top with the knee. Vince called for HHH, who went to the ring with the sledgehammer. The fans chanted DX. Kenny took the sledgehammer from HHH and wanted to use it, but HHH stopped him and fought off the Spirit Squad.

Who will take over as the boss of RAW? Tune in right at the start of the show to find out. Also this week on RAW, Triple H goes one on one with Kenny of the Spirit Squad. Last week on RAW, Paul Heyman introduced Mick Foley & Edge to their ECW One Night Stand opponents - Tommy Dreamer & Terry Funk. This week, Heyman and Foley will have a face off on RAW. For all this and more, watch RAW Monday night at 9pm et, 8pm ct on the USA network.
RAW Results for 5/29: The show started with Vince McMahon coming out and said he wouldnt announce a General Manager as promised, but that he did have an executive assistant, Jonathan Coachman. Coach announced John Cena against someone he hasnt faced, a number one contender match for Vengeance with Big Show vs. Edge and a Shelton Benjamin title defense against Kane. Shelton Benjamin and Kane battled to a no contest. Benjamin sent Kane into the post and applied the dreaded rest hold. Kane came back with a big boot, clothesline, side slam, and clothesline off the top. He went for the choke slam but Benjamin reversed, rolled up Kane and grabbed the ropes for a near fall. Kane then went for the tombstone, but that was reversed into a DDT. Benjamin hit the stinger splash, but when he went for a second Kane caught him with the choke slam. At that point the voices came again, and someone came out to Kanes old music with a mask. He was a little bigger than Kane. He didnt look intimidating because he was less muscular than Kane was in that outfit, and he had weird hair. Fake Kane choke slammed Kane. Coach backstage was looking for HHH. Armando offered his assistance on anything Coach needs. Viscera then confronted Armando, and said he was out for revenge on Umaga. Armando found this amusing. Elsewhere, HHH wasnt sure if Vince was angry at him by not putting him in the number one contender match. HHH said he has done everything Vince asked, and he took out the Squad simply because they got in his way. Vince made HHH vs. Kenny a lumberjack match with the Squad at ringside. Umaga beat Viscera. As Viscera came to the ring, Umaga gave him the downward spiral on the ramp. He hit a splash off the top and the Samoan spike for the pin. Torrie Wilson and Beth Phoenix, accompanied by Trish Stratus, beat Candice Michelle and Victoria, accompanied by Mickie James. Victoria and Beth traded punches. Beth hit a side slam on Victoria. Torrie gave Victoria the stink face. Victoria gained control and tagged Candice. She hit a splash and elbow, but Victoria missed a leg drop and Beth got the tag. Beth came in with clotheslines, a gut wrench suplex and a Michinoku driver for the pin. John Cena beat the debuting Johnny Nitro, along with Melina, with the five knuckle shuffle, FU and STFU. Rob Van Dam did commentary during the match. Jerry Lawler was ridiculing ECW, including Tazz, who he called a Lawler wannabe. That brought out RVD, who argued with Lawler. Mick Foley and Paul Heyman had a debate. Foley said he is guilty of being a prostitute, like everyone in WWE who compromises to get to the top. Foley said the difference is he traded a low-rent pimp like Heyman for the billionaire pimp McMahon. He said he is annoyed that Tommy Dreamer and Terry Funk are labeled hardcore after what Edge and Foley did at WrestleMania. He called the ECW locker room a bunch of rip-offs, and Heyman responded that he is a Terry Funk rip-off. Foley said Funk was the greatest wrestler he ever saw and Dreamer has a lot of heart, but they dont the guts he does. Heyman said derisively they didnt have the guts to wear the sock. Heyman asked how many shots Foley got at the WWE title before he pulled the sock out of his pants. Thats not a great point, Paul, given Foley had title programs with Shawn Michaels, Undertaker and Steve Austin before Mr. Socko. Foley said Dreamer and Funk didnt have the guts to show what they had outside their comfort zone and on a bigger stage like he did. Thats an odd claim given both went to WWE after their ECW runs, and Funk also went to WCW and held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. In any event, Foley said Heyman resents him because he made it big outside of ECW. Heyman said he doesnt resent Foley at all, but rather what Foley has become. He said Foley threw away his legacy. Heyman said Dreamer and Funk will live up to the standards of ECW and the Edge-Foley Mania match. Heyman said there is a new vision for ECW. It was about time this point was made, because ECW will succeed or fail based on its progressive vision, not its regressive vision. Heyman said all the old good stuff will be there, but there will be a lot more. He said anyone can jump to ECW from Raw or Smackdown, plus Heyman has two draft picks. RVD is his Raw draft pick. He then introduced his Smackdown draft pick, Kurt Angle. Angle beat the hell out of Foley and gave him the Angle slam. That was kind of weird, given his natural role at least at first in ECW is as a heel given his history there. Edge beat Big Show to become number one contender. Show hit chops early, stood on Edge, delivered a head butt, executed snake eyes, and threw Edge off the top. Edge came back with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckle and a DDT. He went for a spear but Show grabbed him by the throat. Edge grabbed the referee to stop this, and brought a chair into the ring. Show knocked it away and went for the choke slam again, but Lita gave him a low blow. He went after Lita, at which point Edge hit him with a chair and gave him the spear for the pin. HHH beat Kenny in a lumberjack match. This was a typical Spirit Squad match, with constant interference, but HHH beat them all anyway. Interference kept him subdued for most of the match, but HHH came back by crotching Kenny, and hitting a spine buster. He went for the pedigree, but had to fight off the entire Squad. So he did, and then hit the pedigree for the pin. The Squad all jumped HHH after the match and went after his leg, but he got a sledgehammer and ran them off. Vince McMahon then came out and said next week he has a challenge for HHH, to join the kiss my butt club.
RAW Preview for 6/5 from WWE.Com: As per the Chairman's stunning announcement, this week's RAW will include a special induction. That induction will be of the newest member to the Mr. McMahon Kiss My Ass Club, and according to Mr. McMahon, that new member will be Triple H. Will The Game join the likes of Shawn Michaels, William Regal and Jim Ross as members of sports-entertainment's most exclusive club? Also this week on RAW, the WWE Championship Match at ECW One Night Stand will be made official when John Cena and Rob Van Dam ink their names on the contract. The Intercontinental Championship match between Kane and Shelton Benjamin was interrupted when the recurring voices in Kane's head seemingly came to life. The Big Red Monster found himself staring at a mirror image of his old self right in the middle of the RAW ring. Will there be any further developments in the mysterious saga that is Kane? Also last week on RAW, Paul Heyman had a face-off with Mick Foley, and announced his two draft picks for the new ECW team: RAW's Rob Van Dam and SmackDown's Kurt Angle. What will Heyman have up his sleeve this week on RAW, just six days before the ECW One Night Stand pay-per-view? Sabu then delivered an Arabian face buster off the top rope through a table. The Raw wrestlers made the save, including Harry Smith in his debut. Carlito beat Shelton Benjamin in a non-title match. I think they should bill Carlito as from Puerto Rico rather than the Caribbean. It will boost his fan base in Puerto Rico, New York and Boston, and using a broader area as a hometown just sounds weird. Jim Ross seems to get this point by noting Carlito as being from San Juan during the match. Benjamin was in control early with a kick to the head, snake eyes, and a snap mare. A double clothesline gave Carlito his opportunity, and he came back with a knee lift and clotheslines. Carlito hit a springboard elbow for a near fall. Benjamin responded with a Samoan drop, but missed the Stinger Splash. Carlito hit the back cracker for the clean pin. HHH went to see Vince backstage. Vince described getting his privates shaved and waxed, as if anyone wants to hear about that. HHH said he wouldnt join the Kiss My Ass Club, so Vince came up with Plan B. If HHH beat the Big Show, they would call off the butt kissing. HHH accepted and Vince sent him out to the ring immediately. Big Show beat Triple H via disqualification. Show was sent to the outside at the beginning, and the Spirit Squad ran out and jumped Show for a disqualification. A furious HHH confronted Vince backstage. Vince said he didnt know what the Squad did, while HHH figured it to be a conspiracy. Vince said there was now no alternative but for HHH to kiss his butt. He said that if HHH didnt do it, he would never wrestle for a championship again. Eugene beat Matt Striker. Striker wanted to know why Eugene thought he could beat Striker. Eugene said he has a tutor, Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Thanks to Duggan there was a lot of enthusiasm for this match, and Eugene won with the three point stance.Umaga jumped Eugene and Jim Duggan after the match. He smashed them into the ring post, and delivered a head butt off the apron onto Duggan. He followed that with the Samoan spike. Armando gloated afterwards. Kurt Angle came out to a huge reaction. Angle said he is proud to be with ECW, but nothing was going to stop him from coming back to Pittsburgh. Mick Foley came out, taking issue with Angle going for the cheap pop. Angle said he agreed with everything Ric Flair said about Foley. Foley brought out Edge, who he said has more wins over Angle than anyone in WWE. Edge said Angle is usually like the Steelers, but next to Edge hes more like the Pirates. Angle responded with threats. Edge said Angles career ended when he was drafted by ECW, and he will hate it there. He pointed out that Angles first interaction with ECW saw him walk away in disgust, and he has gone from the penthouse to the outhouse. Angle said he has always proved his critics wrong, and this isnt the ECW of 10 years ago. He went after Edge and Foley. He gave Foley an Angle slam and applied the ankle lock to Edge. Randy Orton then returned, giving Angle the RKO from behind. He accepted Angles challenge for One Night Stand. Lance Cade beat Kane via count out. Trevor Murdoch said that Kane got lucky against him, but it wouldnt happen against Lance Cade. Kane dominated the match and hit the choke slam, but a video played and Kane walked to the back and was counted out. Backstage, the New Old Kane beat up the Old New Kane again. They aired the first vignette for the debuting Highlanders. Their gimmick is that they are Scottish guys out of some previous century who have arrived in America. They appear to be comedy faces ala the Bushwackers. Johnny Nitro beat Charlie Haas. Nitro dominated early but Haas came back with clotheslines and was booed for his effort. Haas hit a monkey flip and hard kick to the head. Melina came into the ring and tripped, distracting Haas. Nitro rolled him up with the tights for the pin. Beth hit a side slam but the referee with distracted by Mickie. Trish knocked Beth out of the way and Beth hit the falcon arrow for the pin. Jerry Lawler said that Tazz isnt that tough, and hes a bad announcer. Lawler said he choked out a lot of people, but that is illegal in wrestling. Not in ECW. In any event, he accepted Tazzs challenge for One Night Stand. Backstage, HHH told Shane that he wouldnt be kissing Vinces butt. Shane put something in HHHs water and they both drank from their water, but HHH spit it out and switched the waters while Shane turned his back. Shane then hilariously called Vince right in front of HHH, and he might as well have said Hi Dad, I just put some chemicals in Hunters water and hes drinking it now. Hell be drugged and then we can take advantage of him as per our plan. Vince McMahon brought out Triple H at the close. Vince said he had no malice. HHH acted like he was drugged and collapsed, so Vince cut a promo about making HHH and nobody being bigger than Vince. He then pulled his pants down yet again. He ordered Shane to get HHH ready, but Shane collapsed. HHH stood up and gave Vince the pedigree to close the show.
Updated RAW Preview for 6/12 from WWE.com: Repercussions June 12, 2006 School may be out for the summer, but a couple of RAW Superstars may be in for a hard lesson when RAW invades Penn State University on tonight. The office of the Chairman of WWE announced last week that Triple H will face the entire Spirit Squad in a five-on-one Handicap Match tonight on RAW. The announcement comes on the heels of Triple Hs latest example of blatant defiance of Mr. McMahons authority, which ended with the Chairman being knocked out cold with his pants around his ankles after The Game refused to join the Kiss My Ass Club. Clearly, Mr. McMahon does not take too kindly to being embarrassed in his very own ring. As a result, The Game must now square off against Kenny, Mikey, Nicky, Johnny and Mitch. Will the King of Kings live to regret his actions of last Monday night? Or will the former 10-time World Champion manage to stick it to Mr. McMahon once again, this time by turning back his hand-picked henchmen? John Cena will also be looking for some revenge, with Edge being his target. Last night at ECW One Night Stand, Edge came from under the ring and speared Cena through a table, an action that led to Cena losing the WWE Championship. Tonight, Cena will try to get back at the Rated-R Superstar when they go one on one. Also last week, Kane was once again tormented by the mirror image of himself. The voices caused him to lose to Lance Cade by countout, and when he went to confront it in the locker room, the mirror Kane left him in a heap. Will the Big Red Monster continue to be tormented by his past this Monday? Don't miss this and more tonight at 9pm ET, 8pm CT on the USA network.
RAW Results for 6/12 Paul Heyman appeared at the start of the show. He acknowledged controversy last night, but said that match was ECW rules, which meant anything goes even if he wasnt a licensed official. Thus, Rob Van Dam is still the WWE champion, and tomorrow night he will make the title the ECW world championship. Heyman invited Edge to show up tomorrow, and said that RVD would defend the title against Edge at Vengeance. Heyman and RVD got a heel reception. Randy Orton and Kane fought to a double count out. They had a bad brawl, with Kane using a big boot, clothesline, side slam and clothesline off the top. He went for a choke slam, but Orton got to the ropes. Kane knocked him out of the ring and they brawled up the ramp for a lame count out finish. Orton went for the RKO on the stage, but Kane avoided it. At that point Faux Kane entered and knocked Kane off the stage. Charlie Haas came out and acknowledged knocking Lillian off the apron last week. He invited her into the ring and apologized. He asked Lillian to accept his apology, but before she could Viscera came out. Viscera said even if Lillian accepted his apology, he wouldnt. He proceeded to attack Haas and hit an avalanche and splash. Lillian tried to stop him and didnt seem pleased with his actions. Eugene backstage said he had bad feelings about Hacksaw Jim Duggan's upcoming match with Umaga. Duggan wasnt worried and cut a great vintage promo. Vince McMahon then delivered a State of the Union Address. He plugged ECW tomorrow, and reiterated that RVD is champion. He then said he is angry about what HHH did, and promised to teach HHH a lesson like he did Shawn Michaels. Torrie Wilson beat Candice Michelle in a Wet and Wild Water Contest. They had water balloons, buckets of water and water guns. The winner got to be on the cover of the new WWE magazine. After the match, Torrie threw water ballons at Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross, each got wet. They aired a video package recapping the Cena-RVD match from One Night Stand. It was expertly put together with the goal of making Cena look like he was screwed. HHH and the Spirit Squad went to a no contest. Vince McMahon came out and announced the Squad members in succession like a gauntlet match. This was a smart idea, because it allowed for the odds to get worse over time and become graver. Mikey came out first, followed by Kenny, Johnny and Nicky. There were DX and HBK chants. Vince called for them to break HHHs neck with a chair and then called for Mitch. Mitch was thrown out and Shawn Michaels appeared. He gave Mitch sweet chest music and then ran in for the save. DX cleaned house, delivered crotch chops, and HHH mooned Vince. The crowd loved this and it was booked really well. Backstage, Vince McMahon announced Spirit Squad vs. DX for Vengeance. Umaga destroyed Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Jim Ross got in a Mid South reference. Umaga was annihilating Duggan when Eugene tried to get the two by four to Duggan. Umaga still cut off Duggan and broke the board with his head. He then used the Samoan spike for the pin. Umaga tied up Eugene and gave Duggan the butt to the face, which made Eugene sad. Mick Foley came out and got Foley chants. He said he had great news, that his blurry vision will heal up in a week or so as well his lacerations. The crowd cheered. He said the old Muppet Mick Foley is back. The crowd cheered again. Ric Flair then came out. Flair said he has been wanting to talk to Foley for three years. Flair said that Foley attacking ECW is BS, because he wanted to bring back ECW since he is just a glorified stuntman. Flair said other people wrestled their way to greatness, while Foley got there by falling off the Cell, and that pisses Flair off. Foley said new fans dont care about Flairs matches with Harley Race, Ricky Steamboat or Terry Funk. Foley continued that to WWE fans, Flair will never be in the same league as Foley. Moreover, Flair cant do anything about it because Foley would rip him apart. Flair challenged Foley immediately. Foley wouldnt fight, but said he would out-wrestle Flair at Vengeance in Charlotte in a 2 of 3 falls wrestling match. Johnny Nitro beat Carlito. At Vengeance, the Intercontinental Title will be defended in a triple threat with Carlito, Shelton Benjamin and Nitro. Im not sure why Nitro was added. Benjamin did commentary, and declared himself Above Average, so maybe Mike Sanders will make that match a four-way. Melina interfered throughout the match, and Nitro worked on the neck. Carlito made a comeback with a knee lift, clothesline and back body drop. However, Benjamin prevented him from hitting the back cracker and Nitro hit an awful standing moonsault into a botched fist drop for the pin. Mickie was interviewed backstage. Mickie was amused that all of her enemies end up hurt. Apparently she grew up with Mickie, but then Beth became mean. Orton then did an interview, where he made excuses for losing to Kurt Angle and challenged him for Vengeance in a WWE ring under WWE rules. The Highlanders were in Times Square and are debuting soon. Edge backstage said he changed the wrestling landscape by beating 3 ECW guys and costing John Cena the title. He said he will beat RVD for the title, and will be at the ECW show tomorrow. John Cena beat Edge via DQ in what would barely qualify as a match. Cena was brawling, when Lita jumped on his back for a quick DQ. Edge ran away through the crowd, and Cena got into a brawl with ECW wrestlers who had front row tickets. You knew they were in for something bad when the ECW crew was Balls Mahoney, Stevie Richards and Justin Credible. Cena gave them really hard chair shots. He took the mic and said he figured out how ECW does business at One Night Stand. Anyone can do anything. He said that he likes that, and tomorrow night he will be at the ECW show. He said he will do whatever he wants.
