Rumors are that Phoenix dropped the title to Bella so Kharma can then take the belt off her. They didn't want Phoenix laying down to Kharma right away since there are no real threats to her outside of Phoenix and Natalya.
i was reading the same thing, steve. so it looks like nikki will retain the title on sunday. then on RAW, Kharma returns to set up the feud between her and the bellas. before Kharma left, she said she wants the bellas because the bellas were making fun of her because Kharma was preggo

Good move putting the belt on the Miz IMO. I know people don't like him, but they are slowing building up the cred of the title and he is a former world champ who knows how to draw heat. Give him the ball for a while and then have a babyface chase and beat him down the road. The change will mean more instead of a quick swap.
