X-rays revealed no break in the left ankle of Broncos guard Chris Kuper. He did suffer a severely sprained left ankle during the third quarter of the Broncos' 31-23 win here Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Kuper had to be helped off the field. Despite the encouraging X-rays, Kuper is expected to miss some time. The extent of his absence won't be known until an MRI is taken Monday. Source: Denver Post
