Lions coach Jim Schwartz said an initial X ray of quarterback Matthew Stafford’s left shoulder came back negative after today’s dramatic 38-37 victory over Cleveland. “There’s a lot more that needs to be done,” Schwartz said. “But the first thing you wanted to eliminate was a broken collarbone or one of those things.” Stafford suffered the injury when he took a crushing hit on the second-to-last play of the game. He said he was in pain, but he returned and threw the game-winning touchdown pass, a 1-yarder to tight end Brandon Pettigrew with no time on the clock.
