WDSU reporter Keli Fulton reports via Twitter that New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton has confirmed that X-rays on running back Pierre Thomas' left wrist were negative. He is expected to return to practice in a few days. Thomas hurt his wrist on the team's first full-contact play of training camp Tuesday and did not return to practice.
