I like him. KC might have ended up with Cutler ugh.. Give Cassell an O-line and a fresh running back..I know this hgas been all said above :}
NO INTS against Stealers! and he helped 2 win again 2day! **********Automerged Doublepost********** how about those long balls? where is that weak arm?
He had a pretty good game today. Can only really fault him for one sack. 2 wins in a row, looks like the team is really responding to him leadership.
couple of bad games 4 him. not all his fault last week. but this week he has some questionable throws.
time 2 bring this back. I think Matt will be a top 10 qb this year. with all the help that was brought in for him.
I don't, he has the skills of a manage the game QB and a poor deep ball. If he's gonna be top 10, then McCluster will have to be a pro bowler.
Holy old tread. I forgot all about this. As for a top 10, meh. IMO this is a make or break year for Cassel, now that he has one of the best OCs in the game. The top ten QBs I see in no particular order is Manning(both), Rodgers, Schaub, Brady, Rivers, Roethlisberger(when he returns), Flacco, Brees, Ryan, with Henne and Stafford peeking in the top ten.
When he started for us, he was absolutely horrible on the deep pbutt. He couldn't hit Moss to save his life. Legitimate weakness.
He hit Moss on like a 44 yard pass to beat us the game that Brady went out on. It was on the money.....just saying.
A rarity. He only had 3 the whole year over 40. I remember many passes not even close, and finally Matt like gave up on even trying, and just used Randy as a decoy most of the year. It's not that he doesn't have the arm, it's more of a lack of confidence that he can throw that ball consistently. I thought with experience, he'd get over that.
Matt is having a great season!! I figured he'd play better once he had some O-line protection....damned appendix...I hope he heals fast. :icon_cheesygrin:
