Most of us in deeper fantasy football leagues remember Mike Sims-Walkers' break out 2009 campaign. Until he got hurt in week 12 he was a hot waiver wire pickup and was posting good numbers. 2010 he slumped big time and was more miss than hit week in and week out. If you're expecting MSW's 2011 season to be a turning point you should check yourself before you wreck yourself. Mike recently tweeted "my time is up" in Jacksonville. Perhaps if he found a new home where he could play a #2 role he could do better, but there isn't many systems where a #2 WR is a valuable fantasy commodity. To make matters worse ESPN 101 recently posted that a Jag's insider stated “He can't beat press coverage off the line of scrimmage and he also whines if they don't throw to him even if they win. He doesn't want to take the blame when he doesn't make a catch and he has a bad knee." They went on to say “A year ago he surprised people, but once they studied him, they were able to shut him down.”
Sounds like a bust to me! So make a mental note now to avoid Mike Sims-Walker in your 2011 fantasy football draft... you've been warned.
