NFL Conference Championship Fantasy Rankings

January 16, 2013 by Greg Brosh

With the NFL Conference Championship Fantasy Rankings coming your way, this past weekend's games were much better than the Wild Card Round.

The Seahawks were one timeout away from upsetting the Falcons in Atlanta. I wonder if Pete Carroll still wishes he hadn't waltzed his way over to the ref while the special teams were lining up. The Ravens pulled off the upset of the playoffs, in my opinion, by going into Denver and knocking off Peyton and company in 2 overtimes. It's amazing what the power of Ray Lewis can do.

The Packers and Texans? Well, Matt Schaub proved he is still nothing more than a game manager. And the Houston Defense continued to fall as they let surprise player Shane Vereen dismantle them single-handedly. After making Colin Kaepernick look like a top 5 quarterback, the Packers have to do a lot of work over the offseason to get that defense back to the top. I am sure a lot of owners who took Packer players in their initial fantasy football drafts are kicking themselves to high heaven right now. By the way, did I mention Kaepernick was one of my early sleepers this year? I still like to remind people that that.

But enough of my ramblings. You came here for the Conference Championship Rankings. Many leagues don't allow players to be changed going into the Super Bowl, so you really have to make sure to choose a player who will not only give you points this week, but will also make it to the Super Bowl if he winds up being locked.
