The Dallas Cowboys dealt WR Patrick Crayton to the San Diego Chargers on Friday afternoon for a 2011 7th round draft pick.
Lots of fantasy implications on this one, folks.
- Vincent Jackson is both suspended and holding out. Crayton makes him expendable. Watch for that situation to possibly take a turn soon.
- If Crayton was dealt, Dez Bryant must be ready for Week One. Lots of analysts have seen him in practice and have fallen head-over-heels in love with the kid's ability.
- Philip Rivers now has a second outside target. Fantasy value: up.
- Malcolm Floyd now has a target other than Antonio Gates on the roster. His value impact is mixed; Crayton will take away attention... and throws.
- Crayton now has value, which wasn't true in Dallas. Keep an eye on Crayton on the waiver wire.
