Philip Rivers had one of the worst nights of his career but still managed to put up respectable numbers, throwing for 274 yards, two TDs and a single INT against Oakland on Thursday Night Football.

Fantasy Impact: It's amazing that Rivers even did anything worth mentioning after going into halftime with only 44 yards, but you can't blame him here. The Chargers lost Marcus McNeil in the first quarter to a neck stinger, and Brandyn Dombroski struggled all night with the bull rush and outside speed rush. The Raiders seemed to line up in what interestingly looked like their own version of the "Wide-9" set featured by Philadelphia whenever the chargers put Gates on the line of scrimmage. This allowed the Raiders to beat the San Diego tackles with pure speed, and if the Chargers don't add another blocker next week, they—and Rivers— will have a terrible time with the speedy Chicago pass rushers.
