Pre Draft Fantasy Players By Position Part 2 WR

March 10, 2014 by Daniel Wunderle

Focusing on Wide Receivers, I would like to cover my top 5 WR draft pospects and where I might draft them in my fantasy league. My prospects for you include

    1. Sammy Watkins
    2. Marqise Lee
    3. Mike Evans
    4. Jarvis Landry
    5. Kelvin Benjamin
    6. Odell Beckham as my sleeper.

Sammy Watkins-  In my opinion, He is the best prospect available and reminds me of  a smaller Calvin Johnson, or Reggie Wayne. I defenitely see him as my number 1 option on my team.  If you can't get a Running Back or think you could take a chance waiting on a QB later on I would try to select him in RD 1-4 depending on where I am selecting.

Marquis Lee- He can be a pretty dynamic player sometimes and if you get him a good QB to catch from, Watch out. He reminds me of an A.J Green or Julio Jones, type player with his explosion.. I would try to select him in RD 1-4 depending on where I am selecting.

Mike Evans- Another quality WR who I could count on to get me points. He has the tools that remind me of Josh Gordon or TY Hilton. I would select him in RD 3-6 if I am looking for a good complementary WR to go with my starter.

Jarvis Landry- I think Jarvis Landry would be a nice complementary or backup WR to your starter. He reminds me a little of Hakeem Nicks He has potential and could do very well for himself depending on his QB. I would try to draft him in round 6-9 but if you are able to find him in the later rounds he could be a steel for you.

Kelvin Benjamin-  I see this prospect as a low risk/high reward depending on where you draft him.. Selecting him in the later rounds would be your best bet if you are looking for some backup WR or 3rd stringers for your bye week teams.  Again, depending on his QB, he could surprise you. I see him as a Justin Blackmon type player.

Odell Beckham- As my sleeper, Picking him up in one of the last 2-3 rounds of your draft could be another low risk/high reward. He can get you the numbers but might not always be consistent. Then again, I could be wrong. That is why he is my sleeper. I see him as a Vincent Jackson type player who is on and produces but not consistently...
