In this section, my main focus will be on the Rookie RBs and what my top 5 prospects are.
My Selections are:
- Carlos Hyde
- Jeremy Hill
- Tre Mason
- Bishop Sankey
- Ka'deem Carey
Carlos Hyde - I see as one of the best RBs in the draft. He is powerful and has great speed and is very strong. If you can pick him up in RD 6 or mid/late rounds I think you got a great bargain. He would be good as a potential number 3 RB or a great number 4 backup. He is also a low risk/high reward.
Jeremy Hill - Being 6ft and 233 pounds, Hill has the potential to be a cannon coming out of the back field. He has good coordination and balance with a nice burst for speed. He has the potential to be a start in the league and therefore drafting him in round 4-6 would be accurate. If he manages to fall in the later rounds, I would definitely try to pick him up.
Tre Mason - At 5ft 8in, he has the makings of a mini bowling ball out of the backfield . He reminds me a bit like Maurice Jones-Drew. He would be a good backup or 3rd stringer for your team.
Bishop Sankey - Similar to Tre Mason in size, He has the mold to be a very nice Back for your team. Finding him in the later rounds could be a great reward in the later part of the year.
Ka'deem Carey - I find him to be a bit of a risk here due to his suspension this past year. I would project you go after him in the last few rounds of your draft. He could turn out to be a very solid back for your team especially if he finds a way to be a starter on his team. However, he could come in handy as your emergency bench warmer.
