Reggie Bush left New Orleans' Monday night victory on crutches. It was revealed on Tuesday morning that the versatile Saints running back broke a bone in his lower leg, and will miss six weeks.
The fantasy implications are huge.
Pierre Thomas will continue to get the bulk of the Saints' carries, but there is now a huge hole in the return game for New Orleans. This could also lead to more looks in the passing game for Devery Henderson or someone else; Bush does so many unique things for the Saints up-tempo attack, it will be hard for the Saints to replace him with just one player.
Keep an eye on the news wire for the Saints to name a replacement in special teams, and consider Henderson as a strong WR3 possibility for the coming weeks. He's been getting more looks than Marques Colston so far, and could see his role grow in Bush's void.
