Today I'm Reviewing The Top 50 Fantasy Picks the Knuckleheads Staff put together last week. It's way to early to have a strong feel for the TOP 50 rankings however, a lot of leagues hold their fantasy football draft around mid July so you have to start putting together your fantasy rankings now to be prepared for the draft.
Greg's top 50 had a few things that stuck out. For starters he ranked Isaac Redman at #47, this is because Mendenhall is expected to miss the first six games of the season. Not to mention, since 2010, he has averaged 3.9 yards per carry, fifth-worst among players with at least 300 rushes AND he has averaged just 1.6 yards after contact per carry, 2nd worse among RB's with at least 200 carries. If Isaac drop in my live draft I'll be sure to snag him as a value pick with high upside.
Tracking Adrian Peterson: ranked #14
Tracking Trent Richardson: ranked #22
Ray has been known as the WR guru for several years now. His WR weekly rankings have always proven to be undeniably accurate. Because of this, I'm going to point out that he placed a very high ranking on A.J. Green @ #24. But Ray isn't the only person high on Green. Matt Williamson of Scouts Inc believes A.J. Green and Calvin Johnson are "the two most gifted wideouts in all of football right now" and Former Colts coach Tony Dungy compares A.J. Green to a "big Marvin Harrison.". You can't deny A.J. had a beastly rookie year, and with Ray promoting him I'm bumping him up my draft board.

Tracking Trent Richardson: ranked #16
Phil's rankings look solid and confirming. He mentioned Reggie Bush, Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant, Michael Turner, Dwayne Bowe as his "just missed" guys. But Demaryius Thomas is undeniably gifted, I guarantee Thomas will be a top 10 WR this year. Clark mentions Michael Vick at #41, sighting that he hasn't "survived an entire 16 game regular season exactly once in his career. And now he suddenly will at age 32? Highly doubtful." Those are words of wisdom fellow Knuckleheads, beware.

Tracking Trent Richardson: ranked #17
Tom Didliani's top 75 IDP list:
Tom is our chief IDP Knucklehead, he broke the top 50 mold with a strong 75 IDP picks. Curtis Lofton fell to #12, which isn't low, but considering how leaky the Saints front four are I expect him to reach top 3 numbers in terms of tackles this year. Be sure to follow Tom's weekly IDP rankings once the season kicks off.
