Off Season NFL Power Rankings #11-20

March 17, 2014 by Daniel Wunderle

With so much movement throughout the league, I have decided to put together a  team by team Power Rankings list based off of new and old player acquisitions this offseason.

11) Arizona Cardinals

This team is almost there. After just missing out on the playoffs, and Bruce Arians having a remarkable season, look for minor tweaking this offseason.. Signing Jared Veldheer to beef up there line is a positive. Look for them to get more depth at Left Tackle maybe in the draft.

12) San Diego Chargers

Making the playoffs this year was a remarkable feat with all of the tie breakers needed during the last week of the season.. Playing in the AFC West is suddenly a challenge. Look for ways to keep Manning off the field. Signing Donald Brown is a big plus for this team.. Look for them to shore up there defense and possibly get a new toy for Philip Rivers.

13) Pittsburgh Steelers

After starting out the season 0-4 Pittsburgh finally got hot but just couldn't get out of the whole. After losing WR Emmanuel Sanders to Denver, and trying to get out of a salary cap bind, look for them to retool there aging defense.

14) Baltimore Ravens

Super Bowl Champs just one year ago, they had everything going for them until Free Agency hit. Look for them to rebuild there offensive line after losing Michael Oher and possibly get a new target for Joe Flacco this offseason.

15) Houston Texans

Wow! Amazing what a difference a Quarterback makes. Going from SuperBowl favorites with Matt Schaub to cellar dwellers with Case Keenum. Look for them to find a QB and back up RB in this draft. However pairing Clowney with Watt would spell nightmare for opposing offenses. Getting a healthy Arian Foster back would also help.

16) Green Bay Packers

They definitely put up a fight against SF in the playoffs, but shoring up there defense and Offensive line in the draft is a must as well as having Aaron Rogers for the whole season. Look for them to be in contention next season.

17) Detroit Lions

Getting Golden Tate to pair with Calvin Johnson is simply marvelous. Look for Stafford to put up big numbers. If they can shore up there special teams and not make so many mistakes, they will be right back in the playoff hunt.

18) Cleveland Browns

Having two 1st round picks this year is huge. Getting a QB is a must even though Brian Hoyer did a nice job before his injury. Signing RB Ben Tate from the Texans is also a huge plus over Trent Richardson. However, losing T.J. Ward and D'Qwell Jackson on defense are question marks.

19) Miami Dolphins

Signing Brandon Albert from KC to shore up there leaky offensive line is a start. Resigning CB Grimes is also a plus. Look for them to continue there offensive and defensive line builds through the draft.

20) St. Louis Rams

Suddenly playing in the NFC West is a huge challenge. Cutting Cortland Finnegan is great for cap savings. Look for them to use there kings ransom of draft picks from Washington in the Robert Griffin III trade on Offensive lineman and secondary help.
