The Week 10 TE Fantasy Football Rankings sees some new faces this week, with one particular player being absent. I'm talking about you Aaron Hernandez. It was reported earlier by ESPN Boston that Hernandez hasn't practiced and it's "unclear" when he will return. With Rob Gronkowski dominating in his absence, the Patriots shouldn't feel the sense of urgency to rush him back. Although, that doesn't bode well for owners who have had to scrounge around for other options while Hernandez has been out. We'll know more by the end of the week, but owners should have backup plans should Hernandez sit out against Buffalo.
Along with Hernandez, here are a couple other guys I'd like to discuss. One moving up and one dropping like a stone.
MOVING UP: Colts TE Dwayne Allen
With Coby Fleener sidelined with a shoulder injury, Allen has made the most of his chances as the Colts starter. He's now caught 10 passes for 131 receiving yards over the past two weeks and figures to get at least one more start. Going up against Jacksonville, Allen is a borderline TE1 for those owners in need of an option. If Allen is somehow still sitting on your waiver wire, snag him up if the guy you have now has been less than desirable.
MOVING DOWN: Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph
There are several options I could have put here, including Jermichael Finley and Dennis Pitta. And yes I know I've brought Rudolph's name up several times in my tight end rankings. But after putting up his second stat-less week in the last 3 games against the Seahawks, no tight end that had previously been ranked as a TE1 has fallen harder than Rudolph. Percy Harvin appears very questionable with an ankle injury and could be used as more of a decoy this week against the Lions if he does suit up, but that still won't give me enough incentive to give Rudolph a chance as my starter. He's teetering on the brink of being wiped out of my top-20 rankings for good.

Also, make sure to check the rankings again between now and Friday to see if anyone has moved up or down due to latest news.
