Week 13 Target Report: No Miles Austin Not A Problem With Laurent Robinson

November 29, 2011 by Greg Brosh

Cowboys WR Laurent Robinson has been targeted 59 times in 9 games played this year in Miles Austin's absence.

I had been a huge Laurent Robinson fan for years now. In his 2007 rookie season, I had picked him up in most of my leagues because I really thought the kid had something special. Unfortunately, his career from then up until a few weeks ago was marred by injuries and non-consistent play. Many of us expected his time in Dallas to be mediocre at best, but he has made the most out of Miles Austin's (hamstring) absence. He has scored at least one time in his last seven games and has 2 two-touchdown games in that span. He was targeted a team-high 12 times last week against the Dolphins, 6 more than second-place Dez Bryant. I expect Robinson to squeak out one more big game if Austin is unable to play against the Cardinals in Week 13.

Below is the top 20 players by targets as we head into Week 13. As you can see, we now have our all new NFL Target report section which allows owners to keep track of all their fantasy players.

KEY:
Pos: Position
Rec: Receptions
TD: Touchdowns
