Week 15 RB Fantasy Football Rankings

December 11, 2012 by Greg Brosh

This week's Week 15 RB Fantasy Football Rankings are critical because it means you are that much closer to winning your league. There are still guys who continue to dominate like Adrian Peterson. While others are surprisingly getting it done at just the right time, ala Shonn Greene. Still, I know that there is at least one player who owners are wavering over in regards to starting him or keeping him on the bench after last weekend's debacle against the Buccaneers.

Bryce Brown Is Still A Must Start Against The Bengals

Even though he was facing the Buccaneers' No. 1 rushing defense in Week 14, it was really hard not ranking Brown as an RB1. The guy was averaging 173.5 rushing yards, with a total of 4 scores the two weeks prior. With those type of numbers, I am sure many were banking on Brown to at least reach 100. He didn't. He didn't even come close. As if his 12 rushing yards weren't bad enough, the Eagles used Dion Lewis in a majority of the fourth quarter due to Philly having to play catchup. Brown either lost your fantasy football game for you, or he barely did enough to scrape you a win. Don't get nervous. Brown was bound to come back down sometime. And facing the league's worst passing defense, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the Eagles PASSED PASSED PASSED. This week, Brown is playing at home against a Bengals Defense that is giving up almost 19 points a game to fantasy running backs. Can Brown put up another 150? It will be harder now that Nick Foles has staked his claim as more than just a first-year rookie backup. The team won't have to rely on Brown as much as they did in Week 13. But if Foles can continue to make the decisions he did last week, that will definitely free up Brown and the running game. So like we say here at Fantasy Knuckleheads: Don't Get Cute! Plug Brown in and rest assured he will get you just enough points to make his start worthwhile.

Now that I, hopefully, eased owners' minds about Brown, lets take a look at the Week 15 RB Fantasy Football Rankings. Like every week, make sure to check out the rest of our rankings in our RANKINGS SECTION (Including IDP).

Also, make sure to check the rankings again between now and Friday to see if anyone has moved up or down due to latest news and injuries. I think I changed last week's rankings 10 times before Friday.
