With the fantasy football world holding their breath on whether Ravens TE Dennis Pitta can live up to the TE1 hype he received from many sites' rankings, the Week 16 Waiver Wire Tight Ends Pickups article contains a couple more tight ends who could prove valuable for Week 16.

Zach Miller - Seahawks
In fantasy football, it's all about exploiting matchups. The Cardinals have a strong defense, but they continue to rank dead last against opposing fantasy tight ends. In Week 14, Rams TE Jared Cook woke up with 3 catches for 49 yards. Sunday, Titans TE Delanie Walker put up 8 catches for 53 yards and a score. Lets face it; Zach Miller isn't that good. He only has 29 receptions on the year. But this week could be the week Miller finds himself staring down the barrel of fantasy gold. Rob Gronkowski owners have had to play matchups. This is one that could be exploited by the Seahawks. I'm not going to rank Miller a TE1. But if you are that desperate, it couldn't hurt to look Miller's way.
Marcedes Lewis - Jaguars
Lewis hasn't had fantasy relevance since 2010, yet owners continue to draft him in the hopes that 10-touchdown season will come back. It won't. However, Lewis has found himself on a 3-game touchdown streak. If Cecil Shorts finds himself out again in Week 16, or even if Shorts does play, Lewis has provided Chad Henne the big body he needs in the endzone after Justin Blackmon was lost for the season.
