In my Week 16 rankings, 49ers WR Michael Crabtree becomes a polarizing player to choose from. From his first game to now, he's clearly starting to get more comfortable on the field. Could his Week 17 game against the Falcons be his version of his "coming out" game for 2013? I wouldn't be surprised. If you can use him as a flex, that's tremendous value as his upside is as a mid-level WR2. He could put up 100 and a score this week, making title-game owners very happy.

WR Danny Amendola has seen double the targets since Gronk's exit, which is why I ranked him 20th. For those of you that held on to Danny, you got 10 catches for 131 yards last week and a TD the week before that. Enter week 16 @ the Ravens, a game that will go down to the wire, look for Amendola to continue his efforts and produce championship fantasy numbers, especially in PPR leagues.

Danny Amendola has not provided the level of production that his owners envisioned, when he was selected in the fourth round of last summer’s drafts. But at this critical juncture of the season, he might supply the additional lift that now need. The Patriots have been forced to adjust to life without Rob Gronkowski once again, and it appears that Amendola will be a primary beneficiary. The 14 targets that he received last Sunday represented his highest total since Week 1. That enabled him to collect 10 receptions, for a season high 131 yards. With the collective health of Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson currently in question, Amendola appears primed to join Julian Edelman as Tom Brady’s primary targets at WR. That should result in another productive outing against Baltimore on Sunday.
