With Danny Amendola likely out this week, Julian Edelman climbs my Week 2 PPR WR Rankings. Keep an eye on Dez as he is currently listed as questionable for week 2. If you add him to your "player tracker" we will email you or text you his status.

I think Stevie Johnson is a nice back-door WR play this week if you're looking to round out your roster, especially with his new slot duties. The Top 4 are hard to argue or ignore, but after that it's really difficult to say who tops who. Harry Douglas may see some extra work too, but don't count on too much from him. Also, remember that the Colts WANT and PLAN on getting more targets to T.Y. Hilton this week, and each week moving forward.

Josh Freeman could be looking Vincent Jackson's way a lot this weekend in, what could be, a shootout against the Saints. As you can see, I bumped up my boy Julian Edelman to a low-end WR2 this week. I can see 5-6 catches on the horizon. The biggest question mark is how Mike Wallace is going to look after a very disappointing Week One.

The collective losses of Danny Amendola and Shane Vereen, along with the mistake laden debut of Kenbrell Thompkins, have elevated Julian Edelman’s stock considerably. He now resides at the top of Tom Brady’s shrinking list of familiar targets, which should enable him to maintain heavy involvement in the Patriots’ game plan once again.
