David Wilson was in position to seize the feature back slot, and explode for big plays on a regular basis. But he mishandled his opportunity, and great uncertainty surrounds his status once again. But with Ahmad Bradshaw now in Indianapolis, Tom Coughlin does not have attractive alternatives at RB, and can’t afford to exile Wilson as he did last season. Wilson will receive another chance. But ball security from this point forward will determine his fate.
I'd elevate McCoy here, but I believe this could turn into a shootout early and fast. Look for Bradshaw to get more touches this week and Alfred Morris to have a better than expected day.
There's a lot of question marks headed into Week 2 that is clouding my rankings. Fred Jackson appears to be playing the "fantasy killer" role for Spiller owners and who the hell knows what L. Miller will do this week? A. Foster has done nothing to gain my trust, I'm starting E. Lacy over him, no doubt. Ryan Mathews is in a full blow RRBC and should be avoided as anything more than a RB3.
I was pretty close to ranking McCoy No. 1 over AD, but I stopped myself once I knew I would be crazy to do such a thing. Since this is NON-PPR, AP obviously has more value. Keep an eye on what happens with the Giants. David Wilson can ill afford another mistake-filled game or we will see more of newly-signed Brandon Jacobs in Week 3.
