I have Jared Cook ranked very high this week after finally proving to everyone he can be a TE1 if used properly. Julius Thomas may have looked great last week, but I need more than one week to show me he has the consistency to be a starter. There are a lot of strong targets in the Broncos offense this year. Thomas needs to do it again.
These are our Tight End standard (TD only) rankings. J. Reed is got more attention last week than F. Davis. I expect Davis to start out performing him by week 4, until then you really should have better options. Brandon Pettigrew was silent last week and never was much of TD guy, he comes in at 16 on this list but again, you should find a better option.
Finley is dealing with a toe injury that kept him out of practice Wednesday, but it is noteworthy to mention his movement didn't seem affected. After his WK1 outing that afforded fantasy owners five catches for 55 yards and a TD, he's still very much a safe play. Julius Thomas is THE best WK 2 sleeper option at TE in my opinion, while Indy's Dwayne Allen is still being listed as a questionable play at the moment.
Even though Jordan Cameron's excellent numbers in Week 1 were not necessarily a surprise, the fact that he generated such a promising performance bodes well for his continued success throughout the season. He was easily the most productive Brown, and with Josh Gordon still serving his suspension, Cameron will be Brandon Weeden’s most targeted option again.
