Russel Wilson has a plush matchup this week and rises into the top 10 of our week 3 quarterback rankings. My only concern with Wilson is Seattle will just pound the rock as they hold the lead against Jacksonville.
Manning, Rodgers, Stafford, Brees and Kaepernick round out my Week 3 top 5. I'm wondering if/when Brady is going to be able to get his passing attack back on track. Dobson and Thompkins haven't panned out. Once Gronkowski returns, that should help. But Brady isn't looking like a top 5 receiver anytime soon. Keep an eye on Alex Smith as my sleeper this week. The Eagles have given up a lot of passing yards so far though 2 games.
It feels odd to rank Tom Brady outside the top 12, but the shortcomings of his surrounding cast have essentially crushed his production. 20 other QBs have generated more yardage, and his total barely places him ahead of Geno Smith and Christian Ponder.
