The Week 5 fantasy RB situation in St. Louis is one to avoid right now if at all possible, thanks to an expected RBBC approach for the foreseeable future. I also think we'll see a pretty good game from Spiller this week, which will help fantasy owners :)
Baltimore inexplicably called only nine running plays in Week 4, while asking Joe Flacco to launch 50 passes. The results were hardly favorable for them, and that ratio simply will not continue. You should expect a massive reversal in percentages for this week’s encounter with Miami, and a sizable amount of opportunities for Ray Rice
LeSean McCoy breaks into the No. 1 spot in Week 5 for the first time this year simply due to the Vikings bye week, which I am sure is going to kill a lot owners. Maurice Jones-Drew owners have been asking all week what to do with the little spitfire due to the Jaguars offense as a whole absolutely sputtering. This could be his week as the Rams give up over 26 fantasy points a game to running backs. If MJD can't do anything this week, you can pretty much say he's done. With no announced time table for the return of either Darren McFadden or Marcel Reece, Rashad Jennings looks like he will be getting the brunt of the work. That alone makes him startable. But as we saw last year in Jacksonville, the upside isn't very high. As someone who drafted C.J. Spiller 3rd overall in my local league, I'm losing hope. Daryl Richardson looks like a bust after it was announced there would be competition for snaps in the backfield. I'd stay away from the Rams backfield at all costs.
