Hopefully, most of you are finally ready to stop making excuses for Trent Richardson and accept the facts. He is averaging just 3.4 YPC, is essentially a non-factor in the Colts' passing attack, and is delivering nothing but disappointment on a weekly basis. Now he will be attempting to generate yardage against the NFL's stingiest run defense. Even though Denver has permitted six rushing TDs, it is time for owners to stop torturing themselves in the false hope that he will reward them for the lofty draft picks that they invested in him.If it wasn't for Brandon Jacobs strained hammy I'd have him ranked at least five spots higher. He's got a ton of upside this week because his opponent gives up a ton of fantasy football points to opposing running backs.I am a BIG believer that both Arian Foster and Ben Tate will have big days, and will be relied on heavily with QB Case Keenum now starting against the Chiefs. The Chiefs' defensive strength is getting to the quarterback, while their "weakness" defensively is against the run. Foster moves to number 3 in my rankings, while Tate jumps all the way to 28! Adrian Peterson has a very good chance of trumping Jamaal Charles this week with Josh Freeman under center. The Vikings are expected to "keep things safe" and either run more than pass, or utilize Peterson more than usual out of the backfield—I see both happening.In PPR formats, Jamaal Charles clearly outranks Adrian Peterson due to his receptions. It's hard to argue that in this week's rankings. I love Brandon Jacobs' matchup against the Vikings, making him a borderline RB2. Keep an eye on Andre Ellington this week as well. He's been slowly climbing up the rankings, making him worthy of a flex option this week.
