With the San Diego Chargers coming off of their bye week, many fantasy owners will surely be asking whether or not Antonio Gates will play in fantasy football's Week 7 contest against the Jets.
What I can tell you is Gates was at practice on Monday and did participate despite still feeling some lingering soreness in that foot, but the real question is if he does start, just how effective will he be?
Let's face Knuckleheads, Gates is always going to have some sort of medical issue with that foot or even his hammy or ankles, but when he does play he always winds up being within the Top 10 for any given week.
The dark-side to the aforementioned is he will deal with moments of being inactive, which hurts his level of fantasy consistency, which is why I have Gates ranked 7th this week as he hopes to face the Jets.
