Will the Bills be able to finally use their weapons with "Captain Checkdown" down?
Here are your other injuries and their replacement considerations around the NFL:
ARIZONA CARDINALS at NEW YORK GIANTS
The sixth-ranked Cardinals passing offense matches up with the number one Giants passing defense in this battle. The Giants D did give up four passsing and one rushing TD to Drew Brees and the Saints last week, but the Cards are banged up on O.
With TE Stephen Spach (ankle) out, TE Anthony Becht, who has only caught three passes for 32 yards total on the season will be his replacement. WR Anquan Boldin (ankle) is questionable, making Steve Breaston (23 for 320 yards, TD) more valuable, but he was limited all week in practice with a knee injury. In that case, Jerheme Urban (15 for 172) may enter the stats sheet.
RB Chris Wells (hip) questionable on the Cardinals but he hasn't done much all season (35 rushes for 124) for the tied for 31st rushing O.
QB Eli Manning (foot) and WR Mario Manningham (back) are probable and expected to play after practicing fully on Friday. RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle, foot) was limited all week and is probable.
ATLANTA FALCONS at DALLAS COWBOYS
RB Jerious Norwood (hip), a non-participant in pratice all week, is doubtful and RB Michael Turner (chest) is probable after being limited all week. In addition RB Ovie Mughelli (calf) is questionable, a non-participant Weds-Thurs., and limited Friday. With that RB Jason Snelling may get some carries. He has been insignificant in the running game so far (12 for 54), but could figure in the passing game as he's caught 10 passes for 90 yards and a TD on the season.
RB Marion Barber (thigh, thumb), RB Felix Jones (knee) and WR Roy Williams (ribs) are probable, they were full participation all week.
BUFFALO BILLS at CAROLINA PANTHERS
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick didn't exactly ignite the Bills offense but he did make a conscience effort to get the ball to Terrell Owens and Lee Evans. TE Shawn Nelson (illness) is doubtful so Derek Fine will be the starting TE. Can the Bills passing offense light things up this week in Carolina? Not likely against the Panthers 2nd ranked pass defense (156.8 a game).
LB Thomas Davis (hamstring) did not practice all week and is questionable as is LB Na'il Diggs (rib), but he practiced fully Thurs-Fri.
K Rhys Lloyd (right ankle) is questionable so you may need to find another kicker if he's your man. RB Jonathan Stewart (achilles) is questionable and is expected to play after participating fully Thurs-Fri. The Bills have the 32nd ranked rushing O giving up 181.8 a game.
CHICAGO BEARS at CINCINNATI BENGALS
DT Tommie Harris (knee) is doubtful for the Bears' 13th ranked D. On the other side of the ball WR Chris Henry (illness) is questionable and WR Chad Ochocinco (hip) is probable. RB Brian Leonard (groin) is also probable. You may want to consider WR Andre Caldwell (24 catches for 238, 2 TDs).
S Roy Williams (forearm) is doubtful for the Bengals after not practicing all week.
GREEN BAY PACKERS at CLEVELAND BROWNS
With WR Jordy Nelson (knee) out I would consider WR James Jones who has five catches for 113 yards and a TD as the fourth receiver. WR Greg Jennings (hip) did not practice Thurs. but was limited Fri. and is expected to play, he is listed as probable.
WR Joshua Cribbs (knee) is questionable for the Browns, he was limited Thurs-Fri. TE Steve Heiden (knee) is doubtful and TE Robert Royal (illness, hamstring, finger) is questionable making third TE Michael Gaines an option for Derek Anderson. Not saying he's going to use him...
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS at ST. LOUIS RAMS
WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) is out for the Colts so play Pierre Garcon or Austin Collie. K Adam Vinatieri (right knee) is out and Matt Stover is the replacement.
WR Ruvell Martin (hamstring) is questionable and WR Donnie Avery (hip) is probable for the 23rd-ranked (173.8 a game)passing offense of the Rams. Danny Amendola who has nine catches for 76 yards is next on the depth chart...if you dare.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS at PITTSBURGH STEELERS
CB Antoine Winfield (foot) is doubtful for the Vikings 24th-ranked (248.3 a game) passing D.
For the O, WR Percy Harvin (shoulder) is questionable after being limited all week so Jaymar Johnson might figure in to collect his first NFL stats. The Steelers expect S Troy Polamalu (knee) to make his return and slow down the Vikes pass.
RB Rashard Mendenhall (knee) is probable for the Steelers' 15th ranked run game (107.0 a contest).
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
The Pats O finally caught sync last week at home and is not expected to slow down against the Bucs 27th ranked D (370.2 a game) in London. They are a little banged-up on O - WR Julian Edelman (forearm), T Matt Light (knee), RB Sammy Morris (knee), RB Fred Taylor (ankle), are all out.
Play RB Laurence Maroney (48 for 222, TD) and/or Kevin Faulk (21 for 75 rushing, 17 for 152, TD receiving) as well as any Pats receiver.
WR Michael Clayton (hamstring) is questionable so WR Maurice Stovall (4 for 93) may figure in if they can get anything going in the passing game against the Pats' sixth-ranked pass D (180.5).
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS at MIAMI DOLPHINS
The Saints may be a bit vulnerable against the run with LB Scott Fujita (calf), CB Malcolm Jenkins (ankle) questionable. They did not practice all week.
The Dolphins are the healthiest team in the league with no injuries to report.
NEW YORK JETS at OAKLAND RAIDERS
Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer is insistent that he will try and get WR David Clowney (4 for 72) involved in the pass game with WR Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) and WR Brad Smith (quadricep) out for a second staright week.
RB Darren McFadden (knee) is out for the Raiders so they will expect to utilize RB's Michael Bush and Justin Fargas as much as they can against the Jets' 21st-ranked rushing D (115.7 a game). Problem is the Silver & Black only rush for 88.5 yards a contest which is 28th in the league.
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS at KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
CB Antonio Cromartie (knee) is questionable, he's been limited, and LB Shawne Merriman (foot) is probable, he did not participate on Friday.
RB LaDainian Tomlinson (illness) is probable as well, but RB Darren Sproles should always be a play especially against the Chiefs' 25th ranked rushing D (130.5 a game).
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at HOUSTON TEXANS
Texans' DE Mario Williams (shoulder) is questionable, he has been limited all week in practice.
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at WASHINGTON REDSKINS on Monday night
WR Kevin Curtis (knee) is out and will not play for the pass happy Eagles. Play WR Jeremy Maclin, who has 13 cathces for 193 yards and two TD's, or Jason Avant who has 11 catches for 123 yards and a TD.
