Week Five Target Report – Calvin Johnson Moving Up

October 4, 2011 by Greg Brosh

In PPR leagues, receptions are like gold. Even if you don't have a player who scores much in the end zone, he can easily make up for it if he can catch a high percentage of his targets. Six receptions is just as good as a touchdown any week.

The flip side would be a guy like Calvin Johnson. Johnson is averaging around ten targets a game, which is a consistent number all by itself. But he is also averaging two touchdowns a game, which leads the league (8). Those who have Johnson as their WR1 are sitting pretty right now, even though he's only averaging a little over 80 receiving yards each week. Make sure to check out Ray's receiver rankings to see where he will have Johnson ranked for Week Five.

Below are the rest of the top-100 targets going into Week Five.
