Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reported: "If McGahee’s hamstring holds up well in practice Tuesday, it is expected he would start against the Jets and be backed up by Lance Ball and newly-signed running back Jeremiah Johnson..."

Fantasy Advice: Jones has been actively covering the Broncos since 2008 and does a very good job of it, so this is encouraging news for McGahee owners, but I am personally not as optimistic. McGahee will still have to make it to Friday and will have to show more than just medical clearance if he wants fantasy owners to trust him against the New York Jets. With the recent explosion of Lance Ball in Week 10, I wouldn't be surprised if the Broncos feature McGahee in a limited role this week, or at the very minimum, split carries between McGahee and Ball.
