The football season is coming to a close after week 17 for even the latest running fantasy leagues. The waiver wire is open for business for a few more days, but this will be it for the waiver wire picks column. Hopefully everyone made some steals from the wire this season and be sure to […]
The Best Waiver Wire Picks
The waiver wire is literally the single most powerful tool you can use to dominate your league. When hitting the waiver wire your goal is simple, replace your slackers with starters. You'll be temped to hold onto your draft picks because of the investment you made. Resist the urge to hold on to dead weight. Each season we see guys rise and fall. Drop the players that are failing and pick up the guys that are rising, it's that simple.
Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 are the most critical! During the opening weeks you'll see wide receiver battles flesh themselves out, typically at the WR2 position or slot. Running back platoons (RBBC) may change as one runner rises above the rest enough to warrant a starting position on your team. Tight ends that no one saw coming put together several strong games and become solid depth or trade bait. Lastly, quarterbacks and team defenses can be streamed. We publish the best waiver wire picks every week, see below for our most recent picks.

Week 16 Waiver Wire Picks – Wide Receiver
Some big name players are injured or disappointing among the ranks of wide receivers. Antonio Brown could not manage 60 yards and Julio Jones is still not taking the field. A.J. Green is out, Terrelle Pryor is injured again, the list just keeps going. Never fear, there are plenty of viable waiver options here to […]
Week 16 Waiver Wire Picks – Running Back
There were some big games for running backs in week 15. Defenses are starting to wear down toward the end of the season and some elite names are taking advantage; Devonta Freeman, LeSean McCoy and Ezekiel Elliott to name a few. This trend should continue in week 16 and beyond, but there are players beyond […]
