The Waiver Wire pick ups from week 12 were not too bad, with Fred Jackson coming alive again and Keiland Williams starting at running back for the Redskins, the waiver wire should be a very good place to take your mediocre team to a playoff contender. When I look forward to week 13, the waiver […]
The Best Waiver Wire Picks
The waiver wire is literally the single most powerful tool you can use to dominate your league. When hitting the waiver wire your goal is simple, replace your slackers with starters. You'll be temped to hold onto your draft picks because of the investment you made. Resist the urge to hold on to dead weight. Each season we see guys rise and fall. Drop the players that are failing and pick up the guys that are rising, it's that simple.
Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 are the most critical! During the opening weeks you'll see wide receiver battles flesh themselves out, typically at the WR2 position or slot. Running back platoons (RBBC) may change as one runner rises above the rest enough to warrant a starting position on your team. Tight ends that no one saw coming put together several strong games and become solid depth or trade bait. Lastly, quarterbacks and team defenses can be streamed. We publish the best waiver wire picks every week, see below for our most recent picks.
Waiver Wire Week 12, Could Mike Goodson Win You A Championship?

Waiver Wire Week 11, Mike Thomas Time
The Waiver Wire pickups from week 10 were good with Mike Goodson and Mike Thomas this week. In terms of Sidney Rice, expect him to be in the lineup this week versus the Packers. When I start looking at waiver wire pickups for week 11, I have to start thinking about the playoffs, as well […]
Waiver Wire Week 10, Almost Sidney Rice Time!
The Waiver Wire pickups from week 9 were good with Nate Burleson, but definitely lacked some depth with the poor offense of the Carolina Panthers in Brandon LaFell. When I look forward to week 10, I start to look down the stretch at the fantasy football playoffs and pick up those 1 or 2 players […]
Jacob Tamme TE Colts, Waiver Wire Pickup of the Day
Jacob Tamme, a former TE for the Kentucky Wildcats and 4th round draft pick in 2008, has officially just hit number 1 on the most wanted TE waiver wire list. Fantasy Football teams in need of a TOP 5 TE for the next four to five weeks need not look elsewhere. After just 16 minutes […]
