Fantasy Football Draft Strategies

The TLDR version goes like this, everyone else please see the articles below. Draft at least 3 running backs and 4 wide receivers before the draft is complete. Look for quarterbacks in the middle rounds then draft a tight end after you have RB, WR and QB spoken for. With your first pick a general rule of thumb that works in most leagues is to draft one of the top-5 running backs followed by one of the top-5 wide receivers. Obviously I recommend using our cheat sheets.

You MUST have a cheat sheet customized to your league settings. When you're on the clock you can't waste time fumbling for information to help guide you toward the right pick. Our cheat sheets have all the important information in a single row. I developed our cheat sheets for myself and use it to this day.

Knowledge is power and preparation is key. The articles below will help new comers and vets get one step closer to that league championship.

Not sure if it is because America is the fattest country in the world but tight ends were just hard to come by last year. The position had fewer worthy options than shows on MTV. One thing is certain, tight end has become very hard to predict. They can explode or disappear and overall we […]

QBs You Should Snag for Your 2017 Draft

Matt Ryan had easily the best year of his career. He led the Falcons to their second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. While […]

High Upside Late Round Draft Targets: Non-PPR Running Backs

August 26, 2016 by Brendan Cole

Late round running backs are in style with the advent of zero running back strategies. Wide receivers are much closer to sure commodities and as a result managers are taking them in the early rounds. With this in mind, here is a list that points out some running backs with major upside. These players are widely available late […]

Undervalued Draft Picks for the 2016 Fantasy Football Draft

August 26, 2016 by Kurt Turner

Bargain bin shopping is a critical aspect of the fantasy football draft. You need to know which players are undervalued based on their average draft position. Our cheat sheets do a good job at highlighting this on your behalf due to the way we list the data. Nonetheless, I know not everyone cheats with our cheat […]

Fantasy Football Auction Drafts: Tips, Trends And Takeaways

August 24, 2016 by Brendan Cole

There is room in my life for any type of fantasy football draft, but auction style has always been my favorite. What better gauge of skill could there be than giving every manager an equal shot at every player? The argument that budgeting has nothing to do with fantasy football is fine, but snake drafts […]
