Trey Burton is all the rage this season. A free agent coming out of Philly, the Bears inked the Kelce understudy to a four year contract worth 32 million dollars. Head coach Matt Nagy stated Burton will play the same role as Kelce. It was at this point that every fantasy football writer erupted and started chanting Burton's name in the shower. Its enough hype that I've ranking him 10th in my draft rankings, but man it's early and Trubisky's ears are still wet. Charles Clay is the only reliable receiver in Buffalo. Worth a late round pick in PPR leagues if you end up not in love with your top TE. Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron are very hard to rank for multiple reasons. The only time I can ever remember owning a TE that was part of a TE platoon was in NE. This isn't NE and Doyle and Ebron are not Gronk and Hernandez. That's it I just talked myself into dropping them further, now you know why.

  • Delanie Walker - He had the 3rd most targets of any tight end in 2017, and remains one of the few reliable pass-catchers in Tennessee. Walker has finished in the Top 5 at his position the last three years.
  • Jordan Reed - He'll always have injury concerns, but I want a tight end who's not matchup dependent or needs a touchdown to be relevant. Reed is an autostart when healthy, and I would rather have him in my lineup for 8 games than an average tight end for all 16.
  • Jimmy Graham - This is a golden opportunity in Green Bay, but will that opportunity translate into elite production? It didn't for Martellus Bennett, who finished 28th in fantasy points per game in 2017.
  • Hayden Hurst - There's too much hype around him. Hurst was brought in as a blocking tight end and should be drafted accordingly in your fantasy league. Hurst finished his collegiate career with a total of 3 TDs and just under 1,300 yards
  • Mark Andrews - This is the Baltimore TE to target. In his last season at Oklahoma, Andrews racked up 8 TDs and almost 1,000 yards.
